This is a bookproject
about my four grand
-parents in Shanghai.
Each of them should tell
me two short episodes
of their lives one from
the past, the other one
from the recent years.
These stories are full
of huge contrasts re-
flecting the historical,
social and cultural
changes in China
through everyday life.
